JB’s Pet Rescue was established in loving memory of JB Cook

🐾🤍 A man whose heart for animals was as big as Texas 🤍 🐾

JB believed every animal deserved kindness, safety, and a chance to be loved. He had a special way with animals, the quiet understanding that didn’t need words. Whether it was a stray in need, a loyal companion by his side, or any creature that crossed his path, JB saw value, life, and love where others might not have looked twice. 

His compassion wasn’t loud — it was steady, genuine, and woven into who he was. He showed through his actions that caring for animals is a reflection of the best parts of humanity: patience, gentleness, responsibility, and unconditional love. 

This rescue carries his name and his love for animals and racing cars (his racing number was 65) to further the work he would have been proud of — giving homeless, unwanted, and hurting animals a second chance, a safe place to land, and the opportunity to find families who will cherish them. Every life saved, every tail wag, every purr, and every new beginning stands as a living tribute to JB’s spirit. 

Though JB may no longer walk beside us, his love walks through our lives every day — in every life protected, every animal healed, and every forever home found.

JB’s legacy lives on in every rescue, every adoption, and every act of kindness. 🐾🤍
